You've probably heard of people raving about our Bright Spark Enzyme Oil and wonder if an enzyme oil is right for you. Or maybe you've been looking to introduce an oil into your routine but are unsure about it because you have oily skin and are worried using an oil will make your skin more oily. Well, Bright Spark Enzyme Oil was designed with you in mind. If you have sensitive skin that can err on the side of oily or you suffer with spots, this oil will work wonders for you. This truly sustainable oil is made using Organic British Hemp seed oil, upcycled fruit seed oils and wild harvested nut oils that balance sebum levels, calm irritation and brighten your skin leaving it glowing and dewy but not greasy.

A little bit about why I developed Bright Spark...

When you have sensitive skin, often it feels like your skin is in turmoil, ranging from dry and flaky to oily and blemish prone depending on what products you've used and what time of the day or month or year it is. Because sensitive skin is often so reactive it can feel like a constant battle between wanting to get beautiful clear and bright skin while also keeping it calm and happy. Plant oils are a little miracle for sensitive skin, if chosen for the right blend of properties you can create a multitasking powerhouse that keeps your skin happy and calm. That's why I created Bright Spark, chosen for the perfect combination of ingredients that will brighten, hydrate and balance your skin all while looking after the planet.

What do all these amazing ingredients do?

Hemp seed oil

There are two types of hemp seed oil in the Bright Spark, UK grown organic hemp seed oil makes up the majority of the formula. Then for a little extra magic i use upcycled hemp seed oil which has a significantly higher antioxidant capacity compared with standard hemp seed oil. Hemp seed oil nourishes and heals sensitive skin while helping reduce acne. People who suffer from acne has shown to have a reduced level of linoleic acid in the sebum in their skin which can lead to clogged pores and acne. Hemp seed oil has high levels of linoleic acid which helps to not only heal those blemishes but reduce the likelihood of new spots forming. Papaya Enzymes

Papaya contains an enzyme called Papain and this is an amazing resource that I use which comes from the skin and flesh of upcycled papayas normally deemed waste by the food industry. Papain works in two ways, it gently exfoliates the skin, brightening and decongesting. It also helps nourish and hydrate the skin to keep it in tip top condition.

Fruit seeds

Processing fruit for jam and juice making leaves us with an amazingly sustainable resource (and often overlooked) to make nourishing beauty oils. Once processed the fruit seeds are left over and normally deemed as a waste product. The seeds are then collected up and pressed to make oils with wonderful properties. I use watermelon, strawberry and blackcurrant seed oil in the Bright Spark and they all help to nourish the skin.

Get your vitamins

When struggling with dull and acne prone skin there are two vitamins well known to help, vitamin A and C. Wild harvested Cacay oil has super high levels of A, C and E vitamins which help to keep the skin healthy, bright and clear.

One final blemish busting ingredient

Wild harvested tamanu oil rounds the oil off with is anti-bacterial and anti-inflammatory benefits. Tamanu oil has been scientifically proven to help with wound healing and to reduce acne.

But don't just take my word for it!

Now that you know how many amazing ingredients are packed into this little bottle and how it could transform your skin while looking after your planet i want to show you how much other people have loved it. I love hearing from you, so if you have tried it, please let me know what you think!

"I’ve previously been one to steer away from face oils, as I have naturally oily skin and have been worried oils would make it worse, but I’m really surprised and impressed by how my skin drinks this up and I wake up the next morning with softer and glowy looking skin rather than feeling super greasy."

Emily
